Website for a cleaning company: what actually makes the phone ring
Most people running a cleaning company in Norway have never thought of their website as part of sales. It's just “there” — something you had made a few years ago, with a picture of a cloth and a logo.
The problem is that your customers think completely differently. When someone searches for “cleaning company” in their municipality, they compare three or four websites in under a minute. They don't read about your business. They scan for answers to three questions: Are these people serious? What does it cost? Can I trust them in my home?
Cleaning is a trust business — your website has to show it
You're not selling a product people can see before they buy. You're asking someone to hand you the keys to their home or office. That's a completely different kind of decision from ordering a pizza, and your website has to work accordingly:
The face behind the company. A photo of you or the team — not a stock image of someone in white gloves nobody has ever met. People trust faces, not icons.
The prices, or at least a clear direction. The cleaning industry is full of “contact us for pricing” — which in practice means half your visitors disappear without getting in touch. You don't need to show exact figures for every job, but a fixed-price structure or a starting point builds trust immediately.
What's actually included. Do you wash windows? Are products included? Does the customer need to be home? These are the questions that decide whether someone picks up the phone — and most cleaning websites don't answer them.
Two of our clients are in exactly this industry
We've built websites for both Håvask AS and Krystall Renhold — two cleaning companies that needed exactly what's described above: a site that shows who they are, what they offer, and why someone should choose them over the three other companies in the same search result.
What they have in common: they didn't need an advanced website with a hundred features. They needed one that does the job — one that converts visitors into enquiries, without the owner having to think about it again after launch.
What it should cost
For a cleaning company you rarely need our most expensive package. The Start package, from 8,900 kr, covers most — a solid, professional site with what's actually needed: clear services, prices or a pricing structure, a contact route, and a design that looks like a proper company built it.
If you need more — multiple languages, a booking solution, or content meant to rank in Google over time — the Vekst package from 14,900 kr is our most chosen, for businesses that want to grow beyond the first customers.
See it before you decide
As with everything we build: you see your finished website before you pay anything. If you don't like it, it costs you nothing. For an industry built on trust, we think it's right that you get to prove to yourself that we deliver — before the money changes hands.
