Why we show you the website before you pay — and why almost nobody else does

Standard industry practice, at virtually every web agency in Norway, is this: you pay a deposit. Then the work begins. You wait two, four, maybe six weeks. Then you get to see the result — and if it is not what you pictured, you are stuck with it anyway, because the money has already been paid.

That is a model built for the agency, not for you.

Why the industryworks that way

It is not malice. It is convenience. Building a website takes time, and most agencies want to secure income before they put in the hours. It is an understandable business model — but it shifts all the risk onto the customer. You are paying for a promise, not a product.

And because you have already paid, the threshold for saying "this is not working, I want my money back" is enormous. Most people would rather accept a result they are half-happy with than start a dispute with a firm they have already paid.

Our model:you see it first

With us, we build a complete preview of your website — free, with no obligation — before you pay a single krone. You see the design, the copy, the structure, everything. You click through it exactly as a real visitor would.

Do you like it? Then you pay, and we launch it. Do you not like it? Then finding that out has cost you nothing.

Why this is actuallybetter for us too

It might sound like a poor business model for the agency — we put in work with no guarantee of payment. But it forces us to actually deliver something good the first time, rather than counting on you being locked in regardless. We have no one to blame but ourselves if the preview does not convince you.

In practice, it means we cannot afford to deliver a generic template with your logo stuck on it. It has to actually be good enough that you say yes.

The only "problem"with the model

The only downside — and we will say it plainly — is that it takes a little longer before we can start on a preview than if we simply took a deposit and began immediately. We have to match our capacity against demand, since every preview requires real working hours with no guaranteed payment. But it is a trade-off we believe is worth it — for both parties.

See foryourself

If you have been thinking about getting a new website, but are sceptical about paying for something you have not seen, this is exactly why we build the way we do. Ask for a free preview, and judge for yourself whether we deliver.
